Elevated Highway of Chang-Zhu-Tan Intercity Railway Western Extension Start Construction

The photo taken on Sept. 12, 2016 shows construction workers are hoisting and paving steel bridge deck at Jinhua Intersection of Huangjin West Road, Wangcheng District, Changsha.

The elevated highway of Chang-Zhu-Tan Intercity Railway Western Extension started construction on the same day. With a total investment of 2.67 billion yuan, the 9.02-km-long Western Extension initiated in 2015 is expected to open to traffic synchronously with Changsha-Leifeng Avenue Section by 2017.
