As of 24:00 on October 22, a total of 1,019 cumulative confirmed cases had been reported in Hunan, 4 people had died, and 1,015 patients had been discharged from hospitals. 

During the 24 hours of October 22, there were 3 new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases reported in Hunan (all imported). There were no new cases out of quarantine. There were 3 people under medical observation.

A total of 28,016 close contacts have been traced, among whom 119 were under medical observation while 27,897 others have been discharged.
