It was learned from the Changsha Municipal Commerce Bureau on June 25 that, Changsha will adopt the “2+N” way of holding meetings during the 2020 Hunan-Yangtze River Delta Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Week.
The two main activities are: the “Hunan Investment Environment and Key Industry Promotion Conference” (Changsha Sub-venue) and Changsha City Major Projects Signing Ceremony for “100 Days of Hard Work to Achieve Half Annual Tasks and Goals” Contest held on June 29 and the “Changsha Airport International Trade Cooperation Promotion Conference” held in Shanghai on July 16. “N” means that during the promotion week, all districts, counties (county-level cities), industrial parks and zones will organize precision investment activities around major and characteristic industries.
Changsha now has dispatched 98 projects of the 100-day competition activities, with a total investment of 129.81 billion CNY. There are 20 projects to be signed on site, with a total investment of 17.33 billion CNY. Among them, the three categories of Top 500 enterprises projects mainly include GAC Group New Energy Automobile, Fosun Hunan Financial Science and Technology Town, Lugu Valley Environmental Protection Intelligent Equipment Industrial Park, Sinopharm Medical Device Headquarters, and China Minmetals Corporation Headquarters in Hunan. From the perspective of project types, there are both smart manufacturing projects with strong chains and energy, as well as vigorous big data, mobile Internet, and other emerging industry projects. The number of projects, quality, and total investment are higher than the same period in recent years.
The Changsha Airport International Trade Cooperation Promotion Conference is one of the five special events at the provincial level during the promotion week. At present, it has reserved 12 contracted, including 5 processing trade, 4 cross-border e-commerce, and 3 trade projects.
