The second session of the National Sustainable Development Agenda Innovation Demonstration Zone construction and coordination promotion group was held in Chenzhou on June 22, 2020. Hunan Governor Xu Dazhe presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. He asked to be guided by Xi Jinping’s thought on ecological civilization; implement the State Council's approval requirements; and, combine the building of the demonstration zone with the goals of building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects and striving for a decisive victory in poverty alleviation. We should keep working hard to explore sustainable development experiences and modes, and create an important engine that leads high-quality development, he added. Before the meeting, Governor Xu inspected Yizhang County and Suxian District.
