The hospital is one of the 10 key livelihood improvement projects in Hunan Province. It is located in Yanghu Ecological New Town, with a total planned construction area of 400,000 square meters and 1,500 beds. The first phase of the hospital is now fully put into service, offering 350 beds. It has core disciplines such as gynecology, obstetrics, pediatrics, surgery, medical plastic surgery and traditional Chinese medicine. It is equipped with leisure lawn, hanging garden, rooftop garden and children's theme park.
The hospital has more than 60 senior experts, including academicians, provincial- and municipal-level academic committee chairs and members, famous doctors from of Xiangya Hospital. A number of medical experts who enjoy a high reputation in their respective fields will come to the hospital on a regular basis to conduct group consultation.
The hospital signed a contract with the Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine, and was awarded a “Plaque for Teaching Hospital” on that day. This will facilitate the transformation of medical scientific research achievements and the cultivation of clinical medical talents.
