The China Sports Lottery "Peak Hunan 2023" Six Famous Mountains Climbing Tournament (Daoxian Station) will be held in Daoxian County on November 25. A cross-country race to explore beautiful scenery of Yongzhou City will kick off simultaneously.

The tournament features men's climbing group, women's climbing group, hiking group, and online group. The racing course for climbing group is 12.2 km, and that for hiking group is 5.6 km. The starting point is located at the Hunan agricultural and sideline products centralized inspection center, also known as the Daoxian navel orange distribution center. Competitors will have the chance to witness the changes of Daoxin County, and enjoy beautiful scenery and profound cultural heritage of the county.

Known as the hometown of navel oranges in China, Daoxian County has a history of more than 1,300 years in planting navel oranges. In recent years, the county has taken the navel orange industry as an important project to boost rural revitalization. The navel orange planting has developed into a pillar industry in the county, which generates considerable income for the local residents.

On November 30, a promotion conference on "Daoxian Navel Orange" brand and a launch ceremony for Daoxian products will be held in Daoxian County. Competitors, spectators, and visitors from across the country will have a chance to taste quality navel oranges and experience the culture of Daoxian County.
