On December 5 and 6, a delegation of eight members led by Moon Seung-woo, chairperson of the Jeonbuk State Council, paid a visit to Zhangjiajie City.

The delegation visited the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, the General Affairs Center of Zhangjiajie Chinese Giant Salamander National Nature Reserve, the Zhangjiajie Tourism Commodity Industrial Park, and the 72 Unusual Houses Cultural Tourism Zone. The delegates experienced firsthand the geological wonders and ecological charm of this World Natural Heritage site, learned about the development of tourism products and characteristic industries in Zhangjiajie, and explored the city's new business formats of nighttime cultural and tourism integration.

Chairperson Moon Seung-woo highly praised Zhangjiajie's natural and cultural resources. He noted that the Jeonbuk State Council will take this visit as an opportunity to actively draw on Zhangjiajie's experience in eco-tourism management. This will promote substantive cooperation between the two sides in jointly studying eco-tourism management systems, co-developing tourism products, and mutually promoting tourist flows, working together to achieve shared development.

This tour serves as a return visit following the Hunan delegation's visit to South Korea in October 2025. It aims to further implement mutual agreements and advance exchanges and cooperation between the two regions in areas such as cultural tourism and economic and trade industries.
