March is a fine time to go out and appreciate the beautiful scenes of nature. Tourist attractions across Hunan Province will launch preferential activities for female tourists to mark the upcoming International Women's Day. 

Window on the World, Changsha 

The Window on the World launches a month-long activity from March 1 to 31. The gingko tree in the just-concluded "Time Concert" program of Hunan TV resettles in the Window on the World. A singing activity is being held under the tree and tourists who are fond of singing are welcome. A rabbit made of 5,200 roses is installed inside the scenic area. Giant pink dinosaurs surrounded by marguerites attract many tourists. 

Tongguan Kiln Ancient Town, Changsha

The Tongguan Kiln Ancient Town hosts a Huazhao garden party from March 4 to April 23. Various activities have been launched, including worshipping the Flower Goddess, parades, dance shows, bonfire parties, and fairs. Tourists can wear their Hanfu to join the party, and experience folk customs and admire flowers with friends. 

Dawei Mountain National Forest Park, Liuyang

The park offers free admission to female tourists from March 4 to 12. Limuqiao Scenic Area offers discounted tickets covering such events as sliding on grass, rafting, roller coaster, dinosaur adventure, and jungle trekking. 

Shennong Valley National Forest Park, Zhuzhou

From March 1 to 12, many promotional activities will be held in the park. Tourists can participate in such activities as motorcycle off-road event and wearing Hanfu to visit the park.

Shennong Valley National Forest Park has 116,000 mu (about 7,733 hectares) of primeval forest which is best preserved in southern China. It is suitable for sightseeing, team building, study tours, outdoor adventures and other activities.

During the period, all women will enjoy free admission and free transfer of sightseeing buses, and accompanying male visitors will enjoy a 50% discount on tickets and sightseeing bus transfers. These preferential policies also apply to those who hold a Zhuzhou Cultural Tourism Card.

Fantawild Tourist Resort, Zhuzhou

From March 4 to 8, Fantawild Tourist Resort in Zhuzhou launches a reduced ticket priced at 149 yuan for female tourists. 

Langshan Mountain Scenic Area, Shaoyang

The Langshan Mountain Scenic Area launches the first kite festival from March 6 to 8. Female tourists who follow the official WeChat account of "Langshan Mountain Scenic Area [崀山旅游区]" and post an article as required can enjoy free admission to Tianyi Lane, Bajiao Stronghold, Chilli Peak, and Zixia Cave. 

Scenic Areas in Yueyang

Scenic areas in Yueyang hold preferential activities for female tourists. Yueyang Construction and Investment Group launches travel routes and promotes internet-famous sites. Yueyang Tower, Junshan Island, and Mufu Mountain will offer half-price tickets to Yueyang female residents. 

Taohuayuan Scenic Area, Changde

Peach blossoms will enter the best viewing period in mid-March. Plum blossoms, cherry blossoms, paper bush, canola flowers, and magnolia are blooming.

Preferential policies are as follows:
On March 8, female tourists from Changde City enjoy free admission.
On March 8, 200 people will enjoy free admission by following the official WeChat account, posting an article as required and collecting 38 likes.
From March 1 to 15, those who were rated as "March 8th Red Banner Holders" or "Female Model Workers" enjoy free admission by showing their certificates of honor.
From March 4 to 8, female tourists from outside of Changde City enjoy a 38-yuan ticket.

Liuye Lake Tourist Resort, Changde

From March 5 to 8, female tourists enjoy a 38-yuan ticket to visit Huxian Island, a 18-yuan ticket for a mini-train tour, a 38-yuan ticket for the show of "Legend of Liuye Boat", and free admission to a fishing song themed art museum. Those who were rated as "March 8th Red Banner Holders" or "Female Model Workers" at county level or above enjoy free admission by showing their certificates of honor. On March 8, female tourists enjoy a 3.8-yuan ticket to visit Dongfanghong Cultural Expo Park, and a 25-yuan ticket for a tour around the Liuye Lake. 

Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area, Chenzhou

From March 6 to 10, female tourists can enjoy discounted tickets through online booking from official WeChat account. Female tourists who were born on March 8 can enjoy free trips along route 2 and free sightseeing bus travel. 

Mangshan Mountain National Forest Park, Chenzhou

Mangshan National Forest Park, known as a natural oxygen bar, is a primeval forest nestled in the mountains. In order to celebrate the International Women's Day, tourists can share an article on WeChat Moments as required. After collecting 38 likes, they can enjoy free admission to the scenic spot on March 8 with a proof and ID card during a certain time for like collecting.
