[Transportation] Changsha Metro Service Hours Extension Ahead of Qingming Festival

The Changsha Metro Group announced that Changsha's metro network would extend service hours until 24:00 on April 3. Among the lines, the Hongqiao-Xiangtan North Station section of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Intercity Railway West Ring Line, which is an extension to Changsha Metro Line 3, will extend service hours until 23:00 on the day.

In case of large-scale passenger stranding, special transfer trains will be deployed on Metro Line 2 to ensure the safe transportation of passengers to the city center during the holiday. The transfer trains will stop at the following stations: South Railway Station, Wanjiali Square, Railway Station, Wuyi Square, Yingwanzhen, and Wangchengpo.

The Changsha transport authority announced in recent days that, between April 2 and 6, four special tomb-sweeping service bus lines will be launched, realizing seamless linkage to the urban metro system. People are advised to inquire about the bus routes and transfer stops in advance to plan their rides accordingly.

In addition, beginning from March 31, passengers can conveniently take Changsha metro and Changsha maglev trains through scanning a QR code on the Alipay App. To do this, users can click on the "出行 (travel)" tab on the homepage of Alipay App, and choose the "地铁 (metro)" tab on the top to get the QR code for the metro rides.
