On June 15, the first bullet train with an operating speed of 350 km/h departed from Changsha South Railway Station. It signified that the travel time from Changsha South Railway Station to Guangzhou South Railway Station would be reduced to one hour and 59 minutes. Passengers can "enjoy a bowl of rice noodles in Changsha before boarding the train and have morning tea in Guangzhou upon arrival". The increased maximum speed has created a "2-hour traffic life circle" between Hunan and Guangdong. (Photo/Zhao Chi, Hunan Daily)
