
The Changsha Jiandu Museum is China's first modern museum integrating the collection, protection, sorting, research, and display of bamboo slips. The museum houses bamboo slips from the state of Wu during the Three Kingdoms period and the Western Han Dynasty excavated from Zoumalou in 1996 and 2003 respectively, as well as bamboo slips of the Eastern Han Dynasty unearthed under Wuyi Square in Changsha in 1997. The museum also holds bamboo slips and metal, jade and lacquer relics excavated from the Tomb of Queen Yuyang of Changsha Kingdom of the Western Han Dynasty in 1993.
