Shuangfeng County in Loudi City has enjoyed a long history of producing agricultural machinery. It serves as an important agricultural equipment production base in mountainous areas in China. In recent years, agricultural machinery enterprises in Shuangfeng County have developed small-scale farming machines that meet the topographic features of African countries. The small farming equipment including harvesters, rice husking machines, hay cutters, and corn threshers are exported to Nigeria, Tanzania, and other African countries, to boost local agricultural development.
