The photo, taken on September 11, shows sewage water gradually becoming clear after initial treatment at the Changsha Yanghu Reclaimed Water Zero-carbon Industrial Park in Changsha City. Yanghu is a zero-carbon demonstration pilot zone in the Hunan Xiangjiang New Area. The industrial park is the first comprehensive zero-carbon demonstration park in China that integrates photovoltaic power generation, sewage treatment, reclaimed water recycling, regional centralized energy supply, organic fertilizer, and other green industries. Relying on distributed photovoltaic power, the industrial park purifies and recycles urban wastewater. The residual heat of tail water is used for regional energy supply, and the reclaimed water returns to the natural water system after irrigating the wetlands.
