Began in 2018, Liuyang Fireworks Conference has become an international fireworks event. World-class fireworks companies have been inviting to participate in fireworks competition and share views on fireworks making, so as to further broaden the international vision of Liuyang fireworks companies and expand the popularity of Liuyang fireworks.

The event will be hosted by the Liuyang Municipal People's Government, instructed by the Liuyang Firecrackers and Fireworks Industry Development Center, and organized by the Liuyang Fireworks and Firecrackers Federation and Liuyang Fireworks Association.

A mode of “fireworks + art performances + business + cultural tourism” will be applied to promote regular epidemic prevention and control, and safety guarantee. The fireworks conference highlights interactive participation and innovative experience, which will bring an extraordinary visual feast to the audience.

Liuyang is nationally well-known for its fireworks and firecrackers. It has a history of more than 1,000 years in fireworks production. Its fireworks making techniques were included in the first batch of National Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2006. Liuyang is also the world’s largest fireworks production and trade center. Liuyang fireworks products were sold to more than 100 countries and regions, with export volume accounting for more than 60% of the national total. In recent years, Liuyang has focused on environmental protection and safety to promote the transformation and upgrading of the fireworks industry, and boost healthy and high-quality development of the sector.
