This year's floral art festival, themed "Blooming Encounters," will transform northern Changsha into a springtime "Monet's Garden" with 400,000 blooms within a 20,000-square-meter immersive sea of flowers. The event will offer both residents and tourists a floral feast blending natural landscapes, artistic interactions, and cultural tourism experiences.

The floral art season boasts a dazzling array of highlights, with three core attractions making their stunning debut. The garden has introduced a diverse selection of Dutch tulips to create the largest seven-color gradient rainbow flower fields in central regions of China. Interwoven hues of red, yellow, orange, and white will form a majestic sea of flowers, where every snapshot captures the essence of spring.

A main attraction will debut simultaneously. Spanning 2,000 square meters, the Icelandic poppies sway gently in the breeze, while 400 square meters of Chinese violet cress shimmer in a haze of blue and purple. The interplay of soft pinks and deep blues will create a dreamlike spring wonderland. Additionally, an exhibition on King Protea and a large-scale photo-worthy flower wall will open concurrently, catering to both sightseeing and photo opportunities for visitors.

The garden will launch a series of limited-time interactive activities to enrich every visitor's journey. Residents and tourists can take photos amid a sea of blooms and share their moments on social media to receive a customized postcard. The creative market will feature specially-crafted "Spring Breeze Drinks," tulip-themed cultural and creative products, and intangible cultural heritage Xiang embroidery accessories, allowing visitors to take home a piece of spring's beauty. The "Words in Flower Fields" art wall will be open to the public, inviting visitors to leave messages or create drawings on the site, preserving their unique spring memories. From March to April, the garden will concurrently host a tulip photography contest. Visitors are encouraged to submit photo entries with hashtag as required to participate in the contest.
