National Comic Strip Exhibition (Changsha Station)

The opening ceremony of the "New Journey, New Chapter - National Comic Strip Exhibition (Changsha Station)" was held at the Meilun Art Museum, Changsha on July 24. A total of 95 sets (198 pieces) of works are on display. The exhibition is open to the public free of charge until August 17.

The exhibition, themed "New Journey, New Chapter," features works by renowned comic strip artists from across the country, selected works from the 14th National Art Exhibition's comic strip section, and works from the 8th National Comic Strip Exhibition organized by the China Artists Association. 


The exhibited comic strips cover a wide range of subjects, including agriculture, industry, economy, national defense, scientific research, healthcare, sports, education, and ecology. Through the artistic medium of comic strips, the exhibition aims to highlight main themes of the new era, vividly interpret the core values of socialism, and guide and inspire the general public to deeply appreciate China's excellent traditional culture while emphasizing national spirit and the spirit of the times.

The exhibition was hosted by the China Artists Association, the Luxun Academy of Fine Arts, and the Hunan Fine Arts Publishing House. It was organized by the Comic Strip Art Committee of the China Artists Association, the Children's Art, Picture Story, and Illustration & Binding Art Committee of the Hunan Artists Association, and the Meilun Art Museum.

Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday; 9:00—17:00; closed on Monday
