Registration for the 2nd Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Half Marathon opened since 10:00 on February 16, according to the Tianxin District Bureau of Culture, Tourism, and Sports of Changsha City.

The marathon is a landmark event to promote the integrated development of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan city cluster. It will kick off at 8:00 am on March 19 at Xuxing Village, Muyun Neighborhood, Tianxin District, Changsha City. Only the first 2,000 registered runners could have the opportunity to participate in the 21.0975km race. The route is subject to a roadmap released before the start of the competition. The registration will end at 17:00 on February 28. To be part of it, the public can register through official website. The registration fee is 50 yuan per person.

According to the organizing committee, the marathon this year has taken landscape, security, and transportation into consideration, and improved the prior route by reducing slopes and lowering average elevation. The course along canola flowers, Chinese milk vetch, and beautiful farmlands remains unchanged.

The organizing committee provides electric time-keeping, medical care, water replenishing, energy and food replenishment, deposit, ferry, shelter, and post marathon recovery for runners. Villagers and volunteers will be recruited to provide services for runners, and aid stations will also be set up.
