On July 22, the 12th Yanling Yellow Peach Conference was unveiled in Pingle Village, Yanling County, Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province, marking the start of the 4th Yanling Yellow Peach Cultural Season.

The conference began with a lively song-and-dance performance titled "Folk Songs Enchant the Yellow Peach Grove." This was followed by a short film, "The Story of Yanling Yellow Peaches and Beautiful Countryside," which vividly depicted the dramatic transformation brought to the mountainous region by this "golden fruit" from the deep mountains. The 2026 test results from a third-party authoritative institution for Yanling yellow peaches were released at the event, showing a 100% pass rate and full compliance with national food safety standards. In particular, the batch certified as "green food" achieved excellent results, with a soluble solids content as high as 13.7%, demonstrating pure, sweet, and crisp flesh of superior quality.

In 2025, the comprehensive output value of the entire Yanling yellow peach industrial chain surpassed 3.8 billion CNY. As a national geographical indication product, Yanling yellow peaches have maintained a high-quality commercial fruit rate of over 90% for many consecutive years. A full-process closed-loop management system has been implemented, covering field management and care, batch harvesting, graded sorting, packaging and transportation, and traceability supervision.

On the same day, the Yanling County Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, Television, and Sports unveiled three premium fruit‑picking tour routes:
-- the "Tracing Ancestral Roots and Blessing for Wellness" fruit-picking route;
-- the "Staying True to Original Aspiration and Passing on the Revolutionary Traditions" fruit-picking route; and,
-- the "Gazing at the Stars and Hiking Adventures" fruit-picking route.

Visitors are invited to pick a "Red Heart' peach, learn about revolutionary history, pay homage to the ancestor's mausoleum, and immerse in the cool, refreshing scenery.

A Yanling yellow peach gourmet tasting area was also set up, featuring creative delicacies such as peach fruit platters, peach rice noodles, peach fruit cakes, peach juice, and peach salads, offering visitors a delightful feast.

During the cultural season, Yanling County will host the 2026 Hunan Rural Cultural Tourism Festival and the Hunan High Mountain Summer Retreat and Wellness Season. A series of activities will be organized, including a mountain breeze concert, peach-picking tours in Yao villages, a summer trip to Shennong Valley, and a stargazing event on the clouds. A total of 10,000 yuan in consumption vouchers will be distributed. Meanwhile, the three core scenic areas—Emperor Yan's Mausoleum, Shennong Valley, and Yunshang Courtyard—are simultaneously offering summer benefits. From now until August 31, all national high school and junior high school graduates of 2026 can enjoy free admission with their exam admission tickets.
