Changsha Olympic Sports Center Accelerates Construction

On May 25, at the construction site of the Changsha Olympic Sports Center project, the main concrete structure of the main stadium was sprinting toward topping out. The project has a total construction area of approximately 550,000 square meters and is planned to include a 65,000-seat main stadium, an 18,000-seat comprehensive gymnasium, and a 4,000-seat natatorium for diving and swimming. The project is undertaken by a consortium including the China Construction Fifth Engineering Bureau and the China Construction Third Engineering Bureau. The Changsha Olympic Sports Center, the main venue for the 16th National Games, is expected to be fully completed and put into trial operation in 2028.
