The first shipment of Zhuzhou-made SA60L (Aurora) light sport aircrafts for export this year were placed into containers at the Starair Aircraft Co., Ltd in Lusong District and delivered to the Shekou Port in Shenzhen recently, destined for Australia by sea.
These aircraft will be used for pilot training and flight experience in Australia. Two were shipped on March 5, and the remaining one will be delivered this month. These SA60L (Aurora) light sport aircraft will be displayed at Fly For Fun, a recreational aviation fly-in event in Australia, showcasing China's strengths and technologies in producing light sport aircraft for the global general aviation market.
Since the beginning of this year, Starair Aircraft has gained orders for more than 20 aircraft, accumulating over 230,000 safe flight hours across all aircraft models.
Zhuzhou is a major light sport aircraft supplier in China. In 2025, the annual sales and deliveries of Starair's "Aurora" aircrafts both exceeded 100, with accumulated deliveries of over 400, holding 75% of the domestic market in its category.
