Recently, the 9th Hunan Gaming Industrial Talents Returning to Hunan Event was held in Changsha. Over 400 representatives from Hunan-based gaming companies and industrial experts across China engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as industrial innovation, talent return to hometown, and project collaboration.

Hunan's animation and gaming industry has experienced vigorous growth in recent years, with clusters such as the Hunan Xiangjiang New Area, Malanshan Video and Cultural Creative Industrial Park, and Tianxin Economic and Technological Development Zone demonstrating prominent agglomeration effects. The Hunan Xiangjiang New Area has gathered 200 large-scale cultural enterprises, with animation and gaming companies accounting for nearly half of the total. A complete industrial chain ecosystem has taken shape. By 2025, three enterprises have been included in the National Key Cultural Export Enterprises List, and 11 have made into the Top 50 Internet Companies in Hunan.

The inaugural Hunan Gaming Industrial Talents Returning to Hunan Event was launched in Guangzhou in 2015. After a decade of development, it has evolved from a regional networking event into a vital industrial resource platform, consistently drawing substantial engagement from Hunan-born professionals. Hunan Caohua Interactive, a company based in the Xiangjiang New Area, has leveraged platforms like the Internet Yuelu Summit and the Hunan Gaming Industrial Talents Returning to Hunan Event to attract talent back to the region. Growing from a team of over 20 to more than 400 employees, the company has created hit titles such as Xenozoic Tales and The Walking Dead: Survivors.

"Hunan is an important hub for gaming talents. Many professionals working in the Greater Bay Area's gaming industry are from the province," said Mr. Huang, a seasoned gaming professional from Guangzhou with Hunan roots. He expressed his hope that more Hunan-born gaming talents would leverage event platforms to spark brilliant innovations in the industry's development.
