In support of the 2025 Changsha Marathon, the first trains on all Changsha metro lines will start operating at 5:00 a.m. on October 26, one and a half hours earlier than usual, while the last train schedule remains unaffected.
On that day, participating athletes and staff can ride the subway for free via designated green channels at all stations by presenting their race bibs or employee ID cards.
From 5:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. that day, the Orange Isle Station on Line 2 will be temporarily closed to the public. During this period, all trains on Line 2 will not stop at the station. The station will resume normal operations after 11:30 a.m.
Additionally, Exit 3 of the Lingguandu Station on Line 3 will be temporarily closed from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., and Exit 4 of the Xiangjiang Middle Road Station on Line 2 will be temporarily closed from 5:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
