Liu Kaiyun, director of the Film Division at the Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, expressed the hope that Chinese and Russian filmmakers would deepen cooperation in content creation, technological research and development, as well as market expansion, producing outstanding works that hold intellectual depth, artistic exquisiteness and skillful production.
The event was jointly hosted by the Hunan University of Technology, the Chinese Society of World Cinema, and the Eurasian Academy of Television and Radio. During the event, a series of supporting activities were held concurrently, such as a China-Russia film and television experts exchange, a China-Russia education cooperation meeting, and an academic screening of China-Russia films on resistance war against aggression.
