On August 14, a container train fully loaded with cross-border e-commerce goods sounded its horn for departure in Huaihua, marking the official launch of the first dedicated e-commerce product freight train of the Huaihua International Land Port (Cross-Border) E-Commerce Industrial Park.
The train was a joint effort by the Hunan Huaihua Lugangtong Network Technology Co., Ltd. and Hunan Haiyue E-Commerce Co., Ltd. The first batch of cross-border e-commerce products includes over 30 specialty goods such as high-quality suitcases and bags and hardware toolboxes produced in Huaihua. After efficient consolidation at Huaihua International Land Port, the goods will be transported by a rail-sea intermodal freight train to Nansha Port in Guangzhou and ultimately arrive at an overseas warehouse in Ghana, Africa, for distribution in the local market.
The launch of this dedicated train marks a significant achievement in Huaihua's efforts to deepen the integrated development of "cross-border e-commerce + industrial clusters." Leveraging its strengths in international logistics operations, the Hunan Huaihua Lugangtong Network Technology Co., Ltd. has partnered with the Hunan Haiyue E-Commerce Co., Ltd. to integrate high-quality local supply chain resources, enabling "Made in Huaihua" products to reach overseas consumers directly. By providing one-stop customs clearance, cargo consolidation, and multimodal transport services, Huaihua International Land Port has significantly reduced logistics costs for enterprises and enhanced the efficiency of cross-border trade.
As a key node of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, Huaihua International Land Port has innovatively adopted the "domestic consolidation + rail-sea intermodal transport + overseas warehouse distribution" model. This approach achieves seamless connectivity with coastal ports, providing Hunan enterprises with an efficient logistics solution to expand into markets of the countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
