"The Art of Life: Multimedia Exhibition of Mawangdui Han Culture" draws inspiration from cultural relics unearthed at the Mawangdui Han Tombs in Hunan. Exploring the three themes of Time and Space, Yin and Yang, and Life, the exhibition dynamically interprets the cosmological concept and philosophy of life featuring "the unity of Heaven and humanity" during the Han Dynasty. Jointly created by the Hunan Museum, the National Digital Library of China, and the Chinese Art Media Lab at Harvard University, the exhibition introduces the artistic legacy of the Han Dynasty—dating back more than two thousand years—to the public in London through digital imagery.

The works featured in the "Oriental Odyssey Digital Art Exhibition" combine Chinese intangible cultural heritage techniques with innovative technologies. For example, the "Imperial Concubine Mirage AR Costume Experience" is based on costumes from “Drunk with Beauty,” (a famous Peking Opera piece) housed at the Mei Lanfang Theater. Using augmented reality (AR) technology, the installation allows visitors to virtually "try on" the elaborate costumes and appreciate the aesthetic beauty of phoenix and peony patterns commonly found in Peking Opera attire. The exhibition was co-hosted by the Young Global Leaders Lab and Perfect World Digital Arts.
