The festival took place during Italy's National Day celebrations. During the period, the Hunan Song and Dance Theatre Choir staged choral concerts featuring classic Chinese and Western songs in cities such as Alba. The choir performed together with top-tier art troupes from over 20 countries, including Germany and France, using music as a bridge to strengthen friendly ties between China and Italy. The choir's performance at the San Domenico Concert Hall was attended by a number of distinguished guests, including Wang Xinyi, cultural consul of the Chinese Consulate General in Milan, and Giuseppe Nova, chairman of the Alba Music Festival Organizing Committee. This was the choir's second visit to Europe, following its participation in a concert celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China in Switzerland last September, organized by overseas Chinese communities. Once again, the choir used art as a medium to convey China's voice to the world.

The concert featured 12 classic songs from both Chinese and Western repertoires. The songs included pieces from Western operas such as Humming Chorus from Madama Butterfly, Anvil Chorus from Il Trovatore, and Toreador Song from Carmen, as well as beloved Chinese folk songs like Jasmine Flower and Chili Song, which resonated deeply with Chinese audiences. Light-hearted and melodious works like Youth Dance and In the Brilliant Sunshine were also performed, alongside stirring pieces such as Roar, Yellow River. The works showcased profound heritage and contemporary vibrancy of Chinese music.
