According to the customs statistics, Hunan's auto exports reached 139,000 units in the first ten months of this year, an increase of 68.6% over the same period last year. The total export value grew 40.8% to 22.28 billion CNY. Both the export volume and value have maintained over double-digit growths for ten consecutive months. The number of exported new energy vehicles surged 170% to 37,746 units, with an export value of 4.92 billion CNY, up 79.4%.

Exports of passenger vehicles grew rapidly while those of commercial vehicles rose steadily. In terms of vehicle models, Hunan's passenger vehicle exports rose by 84.8% to 118,000 units during the Jan-Oct period, accounting for 85% of the total. The export value reached 10.79 billion CNY, an increase of 70.2%. Commercial vehicles registered 12.6% growth to 21,000 units, with an export value of 11.49 billion CNY, up 21.2%.

Hunan vehicle exports to Belarus, Russia, Brazil, and Saudi Arabia were more than 2 billion CNY each. Of which, the export volume to Brazil increased by more than 42 times. In the first ten months, Hunan exported 36,786 units worth 3.24 billion CNY to Belarus, an increase of 3.6%. Its vehicle exports to Russia surged 214.8% to 15,133 units, valued at 2.74 billion CNY and growing 38.8%. Those to Brazil surged 42.4 times to 13,667 units, worth 2.68 billion CNY and jumping 408.4%. Vehicle exports to Saudi Arabia reached 9,277 units, increasing 20.6%. The export value was 2.46 billion CNY, an increase of 53.2%.
