The flying display of the 2023 Hunan (International) General Aviation Industry Expo was launched at the Zhuzhou Lusong Airport on September 22. During the three-day display, more than 20,000 audiences experienced the charm of "general aviation leads a better life" on the site, and learned about Hunan's flourishing general aviation industry.
Imported aerobatic aircrafts and several popular products such as the Xpeng flying car and the eVTOL aircraft jointly developed by Sunward and Volkswagen made their debuts at the flying display. A variety of aircrafts staged stunning shows in the sky, including powered parachutes, XA42 aerobatic airplane, Y-5 transport, Aurora aircrafts, multi-functional helicopters, hi-tech Xpeng X2 flying car, and rotocrafts.
The flying display will last until October 6 as an aviation carnival. Various activities such as aviation-themed study tours, sports games, and concerts will be organized, to entertain the aviation amateurs.
Two Aurora aircrafts of Sunward took off from Zhuzhou and flied over the Orange Isle in Changsha on September 22.
