March 27 marked the 28th China's national safety education day for middle and primary school students. In order to popularize safety knowledge, Changsha emergency management authority recently carried out an activity to promote safety production and emergency knowledge at Changjun Moon Island No. 3 Primary School, Wangcheng District.

Considering the characteristics of primary and middle school students, safety knowledge gifts and safety interactive games for children were tailored. This aimed to make students truly understand the importance of safety in their daily lives, while having fun during the lecture.

A lecturer from the Yuelu Lantian Emergency Rescue Team explained anti-drowning knowledge to the students in detail, and demonstrated and trained on emergency response to sudden drowning and the correct use of rescue tools during drowing incidents. The lecturer also shared real-life drowning cases to remind children of the dangers of wild waters and the importance of avoiding drowning accidents.
