Daily Update on COVID-19 Cases in Hunan on December 1, 2022

During the 24 hours of December 1, Hunan reported 30 new local confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 7 in Changsha, 7 in Xiangtan, 4 in Zhangjiajie, 3 in Chenzhou, 2 in Yueyang, 2 in Huaihua, 2 in Loudi, 1 in Zhuzhou, 1 in Shaoyang, and 1 in Yiyang. There were no new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones.


During the 24 hours of December 1, there were 320 new asymptomatic cases reported in Hunan, including 3 imported cases and 317 local ones. The local asymptomatic cases included 105 in Changsha, 32 in Chenzhou, 30 in Shaoyang, 23 in Zhuzhou, 21 in Huaihua, 18 in Yongzhou, 18 in Loudi, 15 in Yueyang, 14 in Xiangxi, 13 in Changde, 11 in Yiyang, 10 in Xiangtan, 4 in Hengyang, and 3 in Zhangjiajie. There were no new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were 379 new cases out of quarantine. There were 2,825 people under medical observation (including 8 imported cases).


Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on December 1, 2022, a total of 963 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 78 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 296 patients hospitalized (including 8 imported cases), and no severe cases. Six hundred and sixty-seven patients were discharged from hospitals (including 70 imported cases). No people had died.
