Hunan Provincial Three Highlands and Four New Missions Strategy Promotion Conference Kicks off in Changsha

On March 29, the Hunan province implementing the Three Highlands and Four New Missions Strategy industrial project construction promotion on-site observation meeting was held in Changsha.

The Hunan province implementing the Three Highlands and Four New Missions Strategy industrial project construction promotion on-site observation meeting was held in Changsha on March 29, 2021. Xu Dazhe, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee secretary and Hunan Provincial People’s Congress Standing Committee director, emphasized that industries are the foundations, projects the fundamental tasks, platforms the supporters, technology the support, reform the driving force, environment the focus, talents the keys, intelligent manufacturing the directions, and efficiency the purpose. Efforts should be made to the implementation of various tasks. We will display our outstanding achievements in industrial project construction for the centenary anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, Secretary Xu added.

Mao Weiming, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee deputy secretary and Hunan governor, delivered a speech. Li Weiwei, CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee chairwoman, attended.


Provincial leaders Wu Lan, Zhang Jianfei, Yao Laiying, Wang Cheng, Wu Guiying, and Liu Lianyu were present. Xie Jianhui, CPC Hunan Provincial Standing Committee member and executive vice governor, presided over the meeting.

Secretary Xu and Governor Mao respectively led the participants to visit Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Xiangtan before the meeting. They inspected industrial projects in the Sunrise Auto Mould & Die Co., Ltd., Hunan Central South Intelligent Equipment Company, Chiopt Optotech Co., Ltd., Weichai Group Hande Axle Intelligent Manufacturing Base, Lens Technology (Xiangtan) Company, Hongda Vacuum, and other representative enterprises. We hoped that the on-site observation would be a move to guide the whole province to promote industrial project construction with higher political position, greater efforts, and more practical measures; to promote high-quality economic development; to implement the Three Highlands and Four New Missions Strategy; and, to forge ahead to build a modern new Hunan, they added.

Governor Mao and his entourage visited the Weichai Group Hande Axle Intelligent Manufacturing Base.

At the meeting, 20 companies including Lens Technology Group and Valin Group and their industrial projects with outstanding comprehensive performance were commended. Representatives of the Hunan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Hunan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and other provincial departments and companies such as Sunward Intelligent, San’an Optoelectronics, and HNAC Technology spoke at the meeting.

Main responsible comrades of the Party and government of each city, prefecture, county, and district; vice mayors (deputy prefecture head); and persons in charge of relevant provincial departments, some central units in Hunan, and provincial economic development zones, high-tech zones, and comprehensive bonded zones, joined the inspection tour and attended the meeting.
