Changsha Cyber Security & Intelligent Manufacturing Conference Opens

On the morning of November 28, the Changsha Cyber Security & Intelligent Manufacturing Conference opened at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center. The three-day event is themed around “Innovation to Lead for a Smart Future”. Chen Fei, vice governor of Hunan Province, announced the opening of the conference. Rui Xiaowu, chairman of the China Electronics Corporation (CEC), attended and delivered a speech.

Keynote speeches were given by Li Peigen, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, professor of the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and chairman of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society; Zhang Yansheng, chief researcher of the China Center for International Economic Exchanges and secretary general of the Academic Committee of National Development and Reform Commission; Shi Yaohong, vice president of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. and president of the China Region at Huawei Cloud & AI Business Group; Song Liding, assistant general manager of the China Electronics Corporation and president of the China Greatwall Technology Group; and Ye Xiaohu, senior vice president of NSFOCUS Technologies Group.

The conference focuses on industrial Internet, intelligent connected vehicles, 5G, robotics, artificial intelligence, cyber security, new infrastructure, and IT applied innovation industry. Four summit forums, 10 theme forums and two special events were scheduled to be held. There are four themed exhibition areas including cyber security and intelligent connected vehicles, 5G and industrial Internet, intelligent manufacturing solutions and intelligent equipment, new infrastructure and IT applied innovation industry. The exhibition areas cover 54,000 square meters and have nearly 500 exhibitors.

The conference was co-sponsored by the Office of Cyberspace Affairs Commission of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee; Hunan Industry and Information Technology Department; Hunan Communications Administration; Hunan Association for Science and Technology, Changsha Municipal People's Government; and, China Electronics Corporation.
