As of 24:00 on August 29, a total of 1,019 cumulative confirmed cases had been reported in Hunan, 4 people had died, and 1,015 patients had been discharged from hospitals. 

During the 24 hours of August 29, there were no new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases reported in Hunan. There were no new cases out of quarantine. There was one people under medical observation (imported case).

A total of 27,782 close contacts have been traced, among whom 59 were under medical observation while 27,723 others have been discharged.
