As of 24:00 on August 26, a total of 1,019 cumulative confirmed cases had been reported in Hunan, 4 people had died, and 1,015 patients had been discharged from hospitals. 

During the 24 hours of August 26, there were no new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases reported in Hunan. There were no new cases out of quarantine. There were no people under medical observation.

A total of 27,723 close contacts have been traced, and all were discharged from medical observation.
