On February 14, Xu Dazhe, deputy secretary of the CPC HunanProvincial Committee and Hunan governor, hosted a medical expert meeting tohear opinions and advices on epidemic prevention and control. He stressed tothoroughly implement President Xi Jinping’s important instructions with firmconfidence, concerted efforts, scientific containment and targeted policies. Hecalled on priorities on epidemic prevention and control focusing on improving theadmission and survival rates and reducing the infection and mortality rates. All-outefforts should be made to guarantee supply of protective materials, and advancingwork and production resumption amid the epidemic caused by COVID-19, so as towin the battle against the virus.
Vice Governor Wu Guiying and Secretary General Wang Qun were present.

Medical experts Zhang Zhuohua, Li Zhihong, Lei Guanghua, Ai Yuhang,Li Junhua, and Liu Jiyang attended. They gave advices on such aspect of reducingthe infection rate; strengthening epidemic prevention and control andproduction resumption amid the epidemic; improving medical treatment mechanism;caring for medical staff; and, standardizing medical waste disposal.
