On February 12, the Epidemic Prevention and Control Leading Group of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee held a teleconference to motivate, deploy and train the epidemic prevention liaisons in enterprises. At the critical period of epidemic prevention and control, and also resumption of work and production, 12,919 provincial, city, and county-level liaisons will go to enterprises around Hunan, to guide and assist them in epidemic prevention.

New situations and new pressures occur due to work resumption. On February 11, the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee hosted a meeting to call on primary-level Party organizations and Party members to play model roles, and dispatch liaisons to enterprises.

An urgent notice was issued that evening by the Organization Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, the working committee of departments directly under the Hunan government, the Hunan Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Hunan Health Commission, and the Hunan Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The governmental organs and departments are required to assign outstanding officials to enterprises as epidemic prevention liaisons. Enterprises over designated size would have one or two liaisons sent; several small and micro companies could have one assigned; and, industrial parks and large enterprises would have a liaison team of more than three members sent.

On February 12 morning, 84 liaisons from the working committee of departments directly under the Hunan government assembled to get masks, ethanol for disinfection, and some preventive Chinese medicine for the resumed enterprises. After receiving relevant trainings, they went to 42 enterprises respectively, such as Valin Steel, Zoomlion, and Sany. Two officials from the Hunan Department of Audit were assigned to Sunward, to fulfill their responsibilities of assisting the enterprise to strengthen epidemic prevention, and guarantee safe and orderly resumption of production.
