Hunan's industrial parks and enterprises have resumed operation successively in recent days. A number of projects were contracted in a centralized manner.

On February 17 morning, Changsha County, the Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone, and the Exhibition Block and Airport Block of the Hunan Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) Changsha Area held a grand ceremony for the commencement of 60 key projects and signing of 33 projects. The total investment of the 60 newly-launched projects reached 28.9 billion CNY, and the figure of the 33 contracted projects was 44.6 billion CNY. The new Lavida technological improvement and engine project of the SAIC Volkswagen will be put into production in June 2025. The annual output is estimated to reach 200,000 vehicles upon operation.

On the morning of the same day, a "Good Start" delivery ceremony was held at the Zoomlion Hanshou Industrial Park. Eight sets of concrete batching plant equipment and other products were delivered to Heilongjiang, Fujian, Shaanxi, Yunnan, and Sichuan, among others. 

A SANY Special Vehicle Co., Ltd. held a centralized delivery ceremony for its 88 truck mixers and dump trucks at the Shaoyang Economic and Technological Development Zone. The company is currently the world's largest producer of truck mixers, with one mixer rolling off the production line every six minutes. In 2024, its special vehicle orders have increased by 20% over last year, among which the export orders are estimated to rise 50%.

At the Shipbuilding Town of Yuanjiang City, a 28-meter-long new energy ship was launched on the Dongting Lake on that day. Fifty-nine shipbuilding and related enterprises in the town have resumed production since that day, striving for a good start of the New Year.

At an electrical motor company in the Home Appliances Industrial Park in Hengyang County, workers were busy producing electrical motors for high-speed blenders and coffee machine. In order to ensure on-time delivery, the company has resumed production gradually since the sixth day of the Chinese Lunar New Year, producing 35,000 electrical motors daily.
