The signing ceremony of the Yuhu Cold Chain (Changsha) Trading Center Project was held on January 19. It was attended and witnessed by Zhou Haibing, vice governor of Hunan Province and mayor of Changsha City; Shen Yumou, director of the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce and secretary of its leading Party members group; and, Huang Xiangmo, chairman of the Board of Directors of Hong Kong's Yuhu Group. Changsha municipal leaders Peng Huasong, Kang Zhenlin, and Huang Liang participated. Xu Fan, secretary-general of the Changsha Municipal People's Government, was present.

At the signing ceremony, the Yuhu Group, the Changsha Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and the Hunan Pilot Free Trade Zone Changsha Area Airport Block Management Committee signed a cooperation agreement. Headquartered in Hong Kong, Yuhu Group is a multinational industrial investment group with a history of over two decades. The group has established robust industrial investment presence that features a dual-core focus of global supply chain and integrated industry operation empowered by a diversified investment portfolio in cold chain assets and advanced technology, fishery and agriculture, as well as mixed-use development and operation. Yuhu Cold Chain is a cold chain food supply chain enterprise under the Yuhu Group.

The signed Yuhu Cold Chain (Changsha) Trading Center Project has a total investment of 5 billion yuan and a land area of about 400 mu (about 26.67 hectares). It is intended to build a comprehensive industrial park with four sectors featuring cold chain logistics, smart parks, transaction empowerment, and value-added experience in the Hunan Pilot Free Trade Zone Changsha Area Airport Block, and become a landmark project of foreign investment in Hunan Province.

Yuhu Group will take Changsha base as the core, integrate Yuhu's overseas industrial chain core resources, build a fresh products trading service platform linking Hunan and the rest of the world, enhance Hunan's relevance and influence in the global supply chain, and boost the high-quality development of an open economy.
