The opening ceremony of the China-South Korea joint venture intelligent display project binding production line was held in the Chenglingji New Port Area on October 16, 2019. Li Aiwu, CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee deputy secretary and Yueyang mayor, attended and announced its official start. Xiong Wei, CPC Yueyang Municipal Standing Committee member and United Front Work Department director, presided over the event. Liu Xiaoying, CPPCC Yueyang Municipal Committee vice chairwoman and Yueyang Municipal Development and Reform Commission director; Liu Chuanhan, Yueyang Municipal People’s Government secretary general; Kwon Young-Sik, South Korea KC-TOWN Co., Ltd. president; and related business leaders attended.

 

The Yueyang China-South Korea Intelligent Display Industrial Park is an intelligent display binding and intelligent manufacturing industry project jointly developed by Hunan Southern Sponge City Development Co., Ltd. and South Korean KC-TOWN Co., Ltd. With a total investment of 5 billion CNY, it will build a modern intelligent electronic factory with a total area of about 60,000-80,000 square meters and establish 34 high-end manufacturing production lines. The annual processing output value will exceed 5.7 billion CNY, and the annual tax revenue will be about 500 million CNY. The project will offer an employment of 4,000 people and drive the upstream and downstream industry chain economy to about 20 billion CNY.
