The Hunan provincial major projects government-bank-enterprise cooperation matchmaking conference was held in Changsha on May 20, 2019. A number of major projects were issued. There are 148 key projects in key areas such as infrastructure, with a total investment of 1.68 trillion CNY; 119 “Five 100” major industrial projects valued at 414.9 billion CNY; and, 196 provincial key construction projects worth 975.89 billion CNY. A total of 46 major projects were signed on site, with a total investment of 204.45 billion CNY.
Among all the 148 key projects, more than half of the investment was put into 83 infrastructure projects, including the Qianjiang-Zhangjiajie-Changde Railway, Changde-Yiyang-Changsha Railway, Pingjiang-Yiyang Expressway, Changsha Airport East Extension PhaseⅡ, and “three trunk roads and two rail transits” of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan City Cluster. They are worth 893.5 billion CNY. There are also other projects concerning people’s livelihood, rural revitalization and sustainable agricultural development, ecological environmental protection, and poverty alleviation.
Hunan province has continued to promote the annual activities of industrial project construction this year. Total investment of major industrial projects is 414.9 billion CNY, and the annual planned investment is 107.8 billion CNY. The projects are mainly on high-end equipment manufacturing, electronic information industry, new energy, and new materials.
The 196 key construction projects will play a vital role in Hunan’s economic and social development. Total investment is 975.89 billion CNY and the annual planned investment 257.34 billion CNY.
In order to stimulate the vitality of private investment, 88 PPP projects with a total investment of 117.9 billion CNY were also promoted. They included a comprehensive sewage treatment in downtown Yueyang and the Changsha West Railway Station Industrial New Town PhaseⅠ.
