The Ministry of Commerce announced 16 new national e-commerce demonstration bases and awarded nameplates for them at the 2023 China E-commerce Convention held on September 2. Among them, there were three new ones from Hunan Province, namely the Hunan Liling Porcelain E-commerce Industrial Park, Zhuzhou Lusong (Clothing) E-commerce Industrial Park, and Linxiang Fishing Tackle E-commerce Logistics Park.
The Hunan Liling Porcelain E-commerce Industrial Park has a livestream base, a ceramic products selection center, a one-stop operation and service center, and an intelligent cloud warehouse logistics center. It has carried out new infrastructure construction for rural e-commerce, including the local production and marketing warehouses for rural revitalization, rural e-commerce livestream rooms, and intelligent warehousing.
The Zhuzhou Lusong (Clothing) E-commerce Industrial Park has formed the "one center and three bases" industrial park pattern, including an e-commerce operation center at Lusong Clothing Market Cluster, a production and processing base at Baiguan Industrial Park, the Zhilian Chuangyuan Base, and the Gold Port Livestream Base. It consists of an e-commerce enterprise building area of 276,300 square meters and an e-commerce supporting service area of 670,000 square meters.
The Linxiang Fishing Tackle E-commerce Logistics Park, relying on the fishing tackle and buoy characteristic industries of the city, has gathered 108 leading e-commerce enterprises in the field. In 2022, the park achieved an e-commerce turnover of 4.548 billion yuan, a year-one-year increase of 88.78%.
E-commerce is a component of the digital economy, with the largest development scale and the wide-ranging impact. In recent years, China's e-commerce-related industries have absorbed nearly 70 million employees, and its national online retail sales have remained the largest in the world for 10 consecutive years.
