The 3rd China International Rail Transit & Equipment Manufacturing Industry Exposition will be held in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province, between December 7 and 10, 2023.

The expo, as the only national-level trade platform of domestic rail transit industry, has been held for two sessions, hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the Hunan Provincial People's Government. This session is themed "Smart Rail Links to the Future". It will be held both online and offline, focusing on such key topics as rail transit industry, personnel, innovation, capital, and policies. More than 1,200 distinguished guests and 600 enterprise exhibitors will be invited.

With a total area of 50,000 square meters, the expo will cover six major halls and five themed exhibition zones. There will be one major forum, four parallel forums, and a series of activities including meetings, symposiums, product release conferences, and business matchmaking sessions for trading partners. Integrating exhibition, trade talk, project negotiation, outcome release, and matchmaking functions, it will serve as a world-class and domestically top-tier platform for the exchange and cooperation of the rail transit industry.

Rail transit equipment industry is one of the three world-class industrial clusters built by Hunan. At present, Zhuzhou-made rail transit products have been exported to more than 70 countries and regions around the world. The global market share of the Zhuzhou-made electric locomotives reached 27%, ranking first in the world. More than 80% supporting facilities are supplied locally, boasting the highest industrial concentration in the world.
