The Hunan Football League Team to Play a Friendly Match Against the Champion Team of the Cape Verdean Football Championship

On November 4, a press conference for the 7th Hunan Tourism Development Conference was held in Changsha. It was learned at the meeting that this conference will be held in Yongzhou City from December 10 to 12.

The provincial promotional slogan for the 7th Hunan Tourism Development Conference continues to use "Welcome to Charming Hunan," and Yongzhou City's promotional slogan is "A Thousand-year-old Cultural Heritage Originating from Yongzhou." The conference logo centers on the Chinese character "永" written in the cursive script of Huai Su, a Buddhist monk and calligrapher of the Tang Dynasty, with the number "7" embedded within it. The logo also incorporates local intangible cultural heritage elements such as Nvshu (women's writing) and regional symbols like the Sanfen Stone in Jiuyi Mountain, complemented by a multicolored gradient of red, yellow, green, and blue. The overall design presents a visual image characterized by vivid colors and vibrant vitality.

The male and female mascots of the conference are named "Xiaoxiao" and "Xiangxiang." They are dressed in traditional Chinese costumes, incorporating elements of Yongzhou's natural landscapes, such as Yangming Mountain; ethnic cultural motifs like the Yao people's geometric-patterned lace embroidery; and, literary allusions such as "On the Love of the Lotus." The elegant, lively, and endearing designs aim to tell Yongzhou's stories well and showcase the city's beauty.

The conference features a "3+4" activity matrix. The three main activities are the Integrated Development of Culture, Tourism, Sports, and Commerce of Hunan Province and Tourism Industry Investment and Financing Conference, the Enlarged Meeting of the Leading Group of Hunan Provincial Tourism Industry Development, and a cultural tourism project observation tour.

The four supporting activities include the First Hunan New Cultural and Creative Market Garden Party and Taste of China—2026 Hunan Culinary Tourism Promotion Event, the "Gathering in Yongzhou" Football Carnival, the 7th China Poems and Couplet Contest and "Hometown of the Cursive Master" Cursive Script Works Exhibition, and the "Source of the Xiangjiang River" Concert and Self-driving RV Camping Carnival.

It is worth mentioning that during the "Gathering in Yongzhou" Football Carnival, a friendly match will be held between the Hunan Football League team and the champion team of the Cape Verdean Football Championship. Around this football event, Yongzhou will establish the "Yong Charge Champion Market," linking business districts, dining, and agricultural specialty merchants, and distribute special consumption subsidies. Around the venue, a second viewing site will be set up on the red stage of the wedding lawn, with large screens broadcasting the match live, creating a new nighttime consumption scenario of "watching the match+ strolling the market, tasting food, and buying high-quality products."
