Bringing in global quality goods, Sending out premium products from central China

A press conference on the 27th Central China (Hunan) Agricultural Expo (CCHAE) was held on November 3, 2026. The 27th CCHAE is scheduled to open at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center from November 6 to 9. The expo will gather high-quality agricultural resources from home and abroad, building an important platform for the opening-up and coordinated development of agriculture in central China. The event will introduce global quality goods to China and help premium products from central China go global.

Themed "Technology-led, Brand-empowered, Boosting All-Round Rural Revitalization," this year's expo will continue to use the slogan of "Global Agricultural Products, Central China Agricultural Expo." There will be a planned exhibition area of about 80,000 square meters across six halls, featuring sections for grain, oil, and tea brands; fruits, vegetables, and fresh produce; catering ingredients; international and inter-provincial exchanges; and achievements display of Hunan's cities and prefecture. Sichuan Province will serve as the featured province, and 10 provinces including Yunnan and Hubei, along with 22 cities and counties (districts) such as Youyang in Chongqing and Weifang in Shandong, will join in group exhibitions. More than 60,000 buyers are expected to attend.

The expo features a dedicated international exhibition area, with Madagascar invited as the guest country of honor. About 30 overseas delegations have expressed their intention to attend the event. Specialty agricultural products from Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos, and other countries will be showcased collectively, with nearly 1,000 international buyers expected to attend.

Before the expo, eight regional product selection meetings have been held, inviting over 1,000 buyers to communicate in advance. During the expo, channel resources such as the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and JD.com will be coordinated to launch 10 special supply-demand matchmaking activities. Meanwhile, dedicated exhibition areas for counties outside Hunan Province and achievement halls for Hunan's cities and prefecture will be set up for special promotion of characteristic industries.

The 27th CCHAE will also host key events such as the 2026 Agricultural Modernization and Industrial Revitalization Development Conference, the Same-latitude Citrus New Varieties Exhibition and Industrial Matchmaking Conference, the Hunan Agricultural Industrial Investment Promotion Conference, and the 2026 Hunan Cuisine Ingredient Industrial Chain Expo.

Founded in 1999, the Central China (Hunan) Agricultural Expo has become a national-level agricultural exchange and cooperation platform that is based in central China and extends its reach across China. It is the first agricultural exhibition in Hunan certified by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). The previous sessions have showcased over 310,000 types of agricultural products, with cumulative transaction volume exceeding 100 billion CNY.
