On September 23, the "New Hunan: New Foreign Investment" investment promotion conference for overseas business associations and multinational corporations, along with the 2026 multinational corporations touring Hengyang, was held in Hengyang. It was one of the 12th Global Forum for Hunan Entrepreneurs serial activities. Subsequently, responsible officials from Yueyang and Hengyang made investment promotion presentations in turn. They comprehensively showcased the high-quality investment and business environment and broad development prospects of the two cities. Their core highlights included geographical and transportation advantages, characteristic industrial systems, profound cultural heritage, and complete factor guarantees.

Representatives attending the event included heads of overseas business associations and executives of multinational corporations. They delivered speeches in turn, sharing their authentic experiences and fruitful results of deeply rooting and developing in Hunan based on their own industrial fields and investment experiences. They remarked that Hunan has superior geographical and transportation advantages, a complete industrial system, and a continuously optimized business environment, with abundant development momentum and huge market potential. As an important city in southern Hunan, Hengyang has strong industrial carrying capacity and broad development prospects. In the future, they will continue to deepen their presence in Hunan and increase investment in Hengyang, actively explore opportunities for industrial chain cooperation, and make every effort to promote the implementation and operation of more high-quality industrial projects, empowering high-quality local economic development.
