Aizhai-Shibadong-Dehang Canyon Scenic Area

Aizhai-Shibadong-Dehang Canyon Scenic Area is located in the deep core area of Xiangxi Geopark. It consists of Aizhai Bridge, which is known as “Mount Qomolangma” in the international bridge circle; Shibadong Village where the idea of “targeted poverty alleviation” was initiated; and, Dehang Canyon which is dubbed as the “hometown of the drum” and a “natural oxygen bar”. The scenic area has unique natural scenery, a long and rich culture, magnificent roads and bridges, and moving stories on poverty alleviation.

Shibadong Village was honored as a "Best Tourism Village" by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism).
