'Dongting Heart' Sports Tourism Route

The "Dongting Heart" Sports Tourism Route stretches more than 90 kilometers. The route encompasses the Nanmao Canal ecological corridor; a bicycle path through Luowen Village – known for its artistic graffiti; Tuojiang River West Line bicycle path for national fitness, leisure footpaths, and other high-standard outdoor sports courses or venues. The route has been chosen as a race course for several influential sports events, such as China E-Mobile Rally Championships Dongting Lake Station, Hunan Dongting Running Race, and the 10th Tour of China Road Cycling Race. Beyond that, the "Dongting Heart" Sports Tourism Route was included in China's top 10 sports travel routes in 2019 and was honored as one of China's quality sports travel routes in 2023.
