Yiyang is rich in cultural and tourism resources, with a long history of bamboo, tea, and Meishan cultures. There are more than 20 national tourist attractions such as Tianyi Muguo, Yunmeng Fangzhou International Tourist Resort, Yuntai Mountain, and Meishan Cultural Park. It was awarded as the "Most Livable City", "China Outstanding Green Ecological City", and "National Excellent Tourism City".
The opening of the Changsha-Yiyang Expressway expansion project has greatly improved the accessibility and convenience for Changsha residents to Yiyang. Four classic travel routes were released to attract more tourists: a mysterious dark tea culture tour, a romantic Dongting wetland tour, a happy fitness and healthcare tour, and an exciting study tour.

Tianyi Muguo Scenic Area
Tianyi Muguo is a wood culture museum located in Yuxingshan Scenic Area of Yiyang. It features valuable and rare roots and wood and integrates sightseeing, culture, arts, and healthcare. The museum has wood-themed exhibition hall, “Belt and Road” wood expo park, wood culture-themed hotel (5-star), rosewood villas, wedding photo shooting site, self-driving campsite, art training center, and art trading center.

Yunmeng Fangzhou Water Park
The water park covers an area of 300 mu (20 ha.). It is the largest outdoor water park in central China and the first one built in garden. The park is equipped with more than 20 aquatic facilities, including a 20,000-sqm artificial wave pool which can accommodate 10,000 people and create waves up to 3 meters high.

Yuntai Mountain
Yuntai Mountain is in the west of Malu Town, Anhua County. It is the birthplace of Daye Tea, one of the top 21 high-quality tea leaves in China. Its unique geological condition and karst landform gave birth to the beautiful natural landscape and rich resources. On the mountaintop stands Zhenwu Temple, which was originally built during the reign of the Hongwu Emperor of the Ming Dynasty. The temple enjoys a long history of Taoism culture. The mountain is also known for its cloud scenery which lasts for more than 200 days every year.

Meishan Cultural Park
Meishan Cultural Park in Anhua County is the birthplace of Meishan Culture. It showcases architecture, culture elements, folk customs, and religion belief influenced by Meishan culture through physical objects. With 718 meters in height above sea level, the park has well-preserved traditional buildings with varied styles, farming practices, and culture and art. It provides good natural and cultural landscape for building a national Meishan cultural ecological park.
