The video was jointly developed by Jiangyong Culture and Tourism Bureau and the School of Foreign Languages of Hunan University of Science and Engineering.
Nvshu, also known as "female script", is a national-level intangible cultural heritage of China. It was originated from a unique female-exclusive writing system in Jiangyong County, Hunan Province. Hailed as "the world's only female script", its distinctive cultural value and artistic expressions have garnered significant international attention. With English narration, this video showcases the production process and cultural significance of Nvshu's "Sanzhaoshu" tradition through lens, highlighting the extraordinary charm of Nvshu culture while opening a window for international audiences to understand Huxiang culture.
