Luo Shifang, born in April 2001 in Guiyang, Hunan Province. As an outstanding weightlifter in the Hunan Weightlifting Women's 59kg Team, Luo has harvested a number of remarkable results.
At the 14th National Games in 2021, Luo claimed the gold medal in the weightlifting women's 59kg final.
At the 2022 Asian Games, Luo secured a silver medal in the total for the weightlifting women's 59kg event.
At the 2023 Asian Weightlifting Championship, Luo won gold in the snatch and the total for the weightlifting 59kg event.
At the World Weightlifting Championship in September 2023, Luo secured three gold medals in the weightlifting 59kg event, in the snatch, the clean and jerk, and the total respectively.
At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Luo claimed the gold medal in the weightlifting 59kg event. She lifted 107kg in the snatch and 134kg in the clean and jerk, achieving a winning total of 241kg.
